Be In Blossom: Physio Classes Chermside
Pregnancy Pilates
Pilates is recommended by many obstetricians for pregnant women. Its focus on posture, breathing, core connection and flexibility have seen women eagerly seeking out classes. However, significant adaptations need to be made to the general pilates program to accommodate the physical and physiological changes that occur during this time.
Pregnancy Circuit Class
Our pregnancy circuit classes are designed and conducted by skilled Physiotherapists to support the latest recommendations by Sports Medicine Aust and RANCOG (Royal Aust & NZ College of Obstetricians). Pregnant women are advised to accumulate 150-300 min of moderate-intensity physical activity each week and to participate in submaximal strength training.
Postnatal Pilates
No matter how fit or strong you are leading into your pregnancy, it takes time to rebuild the abdominal wall and pelvic floor support. There is no blanket rule for readiness to return to different exercise types such as sit-ups, lifting weights or running.
Mummy Core Restore & Baby Massage
Reshape your body and get your abdominal tone back while rebuilding your pelvic floor support.
Nurture the bond you share with your baby through developing your massage skills.
The Mummy Core Restore & Baby Massage Introductory Series comprises 4 one hour classes held weekly for you and your baby to enjoy.
Postnatal Conditioning & Cardio
Step back into fitness following your bub’s birth without placing undue strain on your pelvic floor. It is desirable though not essential that you complete the Mummy Core Restore & Baby Massage Introductory Course or comparable before joining Postnatal Conditioning & Cardio so that you have developed your skills in coordinating your breathing with deep abdominals and pelvic floor.
Core, Conditioning & Cardio for Women
Here at Be In Blossom, we are so excited to bring Brisbane Women a class that supports their specific needs outside the childbearing years. So many women fall out of the gym and other training programs due to bladder leakage, prolapse, back or joint pains, surgery, feeling “out of place” or not prioritising their needs within their family unit.
Virtual Classes
VIRTUAL Pregnancy, Postnatal and General Advanced Pilates Classes now available in the booking system. We hope to add a circuit class in the next week or two depending on the uptake. Join us as we beam into your home with comprehensive and innovative 45 min classes. Classes open to both current and new clients.
